Skiing or riding powder is one of best feelings in the world. However, you need more than just a little bit of luck when heading out off-piste or into the backcountry. Understanding the avalanche risk and rescue techniques is not just important it can be life saving.
Avalanche Safety Training Day
Arc’teryx St.Anton and Destination Winter present: A day of avalanche training in St.Anton am Arlberg.

Throughout the day we will be exploring subjects such as:
Reading, understanding and putting into a local perspective the daily Avalanche Safety Report.
Safety and Rescue equipment carried both individually and as a group.
Practical training with avalanche beacons, probing and digging someone out, both as an individual and as a group.
Reading the terrain, the slope aspect and its steepness.
Plus throughout the day, some tips and ideas that have been learnt through years of living, guiding and coaching in the Arlberg!
Prices.
EURO 450.- per day for up to 3 guests
EURO 550.- per day for 4 or more guests (max 8)
